I have a friend who participates in classic yachting around Flensburg (not in a Dragon, sadly). He recently sent me a gift of a set of glasses engraved with the likeness of a Dragon. These had been used as trophies in one of their regattas, and he very kindly thought of me and sent them on.

I would love to sail the Baltic at Flensburg one day, and would encourage anyone within the region to try and make these events. The photographs that I have seen show the city and the area around Flensburg to be an interesting and lovely spot to sail. This would be an ideal event for those Dragon sailors who value a beautiful finish on their varnish and paint as much as they do a first place finish in a race. Sounds fantastic.

For the Flensburg fans especially the "Robbe & Berking classics" (next time in 2008) are very interesting, also organised by the FKY. Good information and a lot of pictures in the archives of the FKY webside http://www.fky.org. There are also some classic dragons sailing.
